Build your career in inbound travel.

Explera DMC Korea is a B2B destination management company connecting the global travel trade with Korea. We are growing the inbound B2B division and hiring local market specialists, alongside internships and fresher roles for people starting out. In-house in Seoul, or remote.

Applications — one address only hr@expleradmc.com

Send your CV and a short introduction, and put the position you are applying for in the subject line. Each role below carries its exact subject line.

How to apply

Send your CV to hr@expleradmc.com. Put the position you are applying for in the subject line — the exact role title, or the job category if you are applying speculatively. Applications without a position in the subject are hard to route and get answered slowly.

  • One address for every application: hr@expleradmc.com
  • Subject line: the position or job category you are applying for
  • Attach a CV; a short introduction in the body is enough
  • We reply to every application that names a position

What it is like to work with us

Real DMC experience

You work on live bookings for agencies in more than sixty countries, not on training exercises. What you touch reaches a real traveller in Korea.

Local knowledge, valued

The inbound division runs on people who know a market properly — its agents, its seasons, its buying habits and its language. That knowledge is the job, not a bonus.

Remote-friendly

Content, sales and market-facing roles can be fully remote. Operations and reservations sit closer to the ground and are in-house in Seoul, or hybrid.

How you can join

Internship

Internships

Structured, mentored placements in operations, reservations and content — for students and anyone in their first year of work.

Fresher

Fresher and trainee roles

Paid entry-level positions for graduates with no travel-industry experience. We teach the trade; you bring reliability and curiosity.

Experienced

Specialist and in-house roles

For people who already know inbound travel, a source market, or a discipline we need — sales, reservations, product or operations.

Current openings

Every role takes applications at hr@expleradmc.com. Use the subject line printed on the role.

Full-timeRemoteOne source market

Inbound B2B Market Specialist

We are expanding the inbound B2B division and hiring local specialists who already know their own travel trade. You own one source market — its agencies, its tour operators, its seasons and its buying behaviour — and you are the person Explera answers to in that market.

What you will do

  • Own agency relationships in your market and grow the account base
  • Translate what your market actually buys into briefs our product team can quote
  • Handle enquiries, quotations and follow-up in the language of your market
  • Represent Explera at trade shows and agent events where it makes sense

What we are looking for

  • You work in, or have worked in, outbound travel in your market
  • Fluency in the language of that market and working English
  • An existing feel for how its agencies buy — seasons, margins, lead times
  • Able to work independently across a time-zone gap

  • Chase supplier confirmations and keep booking records accurate
  • Sit in on agent calls and learn how a quotation becomes a confirmed programme
  • Take ownership of small bookings end to end as you progress

What we are looking for

  • No travel-industry experience required
  • Clear written English and genuine care about getting details right
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and email as working tools
  • Based in Korea or able to be, for the in-house part of the week

  • Build and keep relationships with repeat trade accounts
  • Work with operations so what is sold is what can be delivered

What you will do

  • Resolve availability and rate problems before they reach the agent

What we are looking for

  • Experience in reservations, hotel sales or ground operations

  • Test routings and timings against what is actually operable
  • Keep the product line current as seasons and supplier terms change

  • Keep published content accurate as things change

What we are looking for

  • Native-level written English and a portfolio you can show
  • Able to research a place you have not been to and get it right
  • Travel or hospitality writing experience is an advantage, not a requirement

Applying to Explera — asked by candidates

Where do I send my CV?

To hr@expleradmc.com. Put the position you are applying for in the subject line — the exact role title, or the job category if none of the open roles fit. That subject line is how your application gets routed to the right person.

What should the subject line say?

The position or job category you are applying for, and nothing else you need to invent. Each role on this page prints its exact subject line on the apply button. For a speculative application, name the category — for example "Inbound B2B" or "Operations".

Do you hire freshers and people with no travel experience?

Yes. Several roles here are explicitly fresher and trainee positions, and our internships assume no prior industry experience. What we cannot teach quickly is reliability, careful written communication and genuine interest in the work.

Which roles can be done remotely?

Content, market specialist and sales roles can be fully remote. Operations and reservations work against live ground movements in Korea and are in-house in Seoul or hybrid. Each role below says which it is.

Do I need to speak Korean?

Not for most roles. Working English is the requirement; Korean helps for in-house operations and is not expected for market-facing positions. For a market specialist role, fluency in the language of the market you would cover matters more than Korean.

Are internships paid?

Internships carry a stipend, and fresher and trainee roles are salaried. Exact terms depend on the role, your location and whether it is remote or in-house; we set them out in writing before anyone starts.

How long does it take to hear back?

We reply to every application that names a position in the subject line. Expect a first response within about a week; roles with a live start date move faster.

No open role that fits? hr@expleradmc.com

Send a speculative application with the job category you want in the subject line — for example "Inbound B2B", "Operations" or "Content". Tell us what you do well and where you are based. We keep strong profiles on file and come back to them when a role opens.
